The natlan chapter's title could also be the ressurection of the deceased descender, the gnoses are made from their power so the tsaritsa could be collecting them to ressurect the descender, as for the body or vessel, we know that Katherine is a puppet from snezhnaya so she could have the power to make one for something like that too

I dont really care if she's alive or not but i genuinely thought(when she first appeared) that she's gonna be playable and that white floating thingy is her Signature weapon. I never wished for a character until i finished the quest where she died. and until now i still like her design so if ever she's alive and will be playable then id definitely get her.

Yeah Natlans chapter name is probably referring to the 3rd descenders resurrection because the pyro gnosis is the last one needed to have all of them which is also all of the remains of the 3rd descender

Cool theory, if you wanna add to the fire, most characters voicelines about other characters are about playable characters, I remember people using other characters voicelines about scaramouche as a proof hes meant to be playable, and guess what? Some characters have voice lines about signora too. on another note, [possible spoilers ahead] apparently cloud retainer wasnt meant to be playable for a long time until somewhat "recently" and according to some leaks she's ment to come out in 4.4, but that could be just a rumour
