So glad this is being discussed, thank you, I’m age 44 no underlying health issues pre Covid, I got Covid in March 2020, in May 2020 disfluency kicked in, muddled language, merging words, getting stuck on words, couldn’t read, became dyslexic, couldn’t speak properly for approx 5 months, the rest of the symptoms were ridiculous, temperatures for 11 months, it’s felt like concussion at times. I’ve had speech and language therapy input, neurology, and a Professor who researching cognitive linguistics difficulties in long Covid, now 14 months on I still have language difficulties, especially if I over do physical or cognitive
So glad we are now learning so much more in this area

So said how pulmonaryioligist (sp) spend months treating laryngeal issues with asthma sprays....when the patient sees no prgress they self refer to ENT who also takes forever if never to refer you to a speech therapist.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
