Best thing ever for my dog and I. She's super well leash/heel trained, also knows left/right, wait, stay (helpful on a bike), and it also helps where I live there are alleys that don't have traffic so we don't have to worry about cars. She's a McNab and I quickly learned that even 3+ hours of fetch or a 16 mile all day hike aren't enough for her. Sorry, but I just can't run 8-10 miles a day w/ my dog but she can run next to the bike & loves it. If she doesn't exercise enough she gets neurotic and super anxious so our fave time of day is going for a spin!! :)

I have purchased one of these. Main reason being I cannot walk far to to medical reasons so I purchased an e bike and this leash so that the dog can still get out with me. Poor dog?
Poor dog that has an owner that wants to make sure he gets the exercise that he loves.

I have a device called the “Walky Dog” that attaches under the seat of a bike. It’s amazing because it keeps your dog at the same distance away the whole time and the tension control makes it so they can’t pull you over. My dog loves it, but the only downside was how expensive it was. It was close to $60, but I think it was definitely worth the money.

why is everyone so upset? thousands of people do this and their dogs love it. the dog has to get used to it, they probably wont be a pro right away. as long as you have the right training and equipment its more than fine

I just have a leash put it on the handle bars and
have my dog pull me until their done then I put them in my doggie backpack and go home

I use booties and go at the time of the year when it is about to hit like 50 and it works best for my dog, it also gets her more use to her shoes.

11 month chocolate labrador. I can't exercise her enough. She begs for more. Been biking 12-15kms per day. We got along as nice river trail in Kelowna, BC. So it's pretty awesome. I think it's a sport in itself. Dog-Bicycling.

Listen, I have a touring cycle with front and back luggage racks installed. I weigh both bags down the the max, then i went for a run with my border collie. The cycle is so heavy that it's impossible for the dog to pull it over. works

totally wouldn't recommend biking with your dog with a road bike lol - you want low seat, or a dropper post, upright handle bars. be good at riding with 1 hand.

I do it with my dog off the leash as he pulls but he listens exalently so yes he is a staffie

Make sure you are between your dog and traffic. It's too bad this video doesn't cover that.

I recommend boots, cooling coat or bandanna and a running or walking harness not a collar, from a person who lives in the city and bikes with both of their dogs a lot no boots, something to keep them cool and a collar is not a good way to bike with your dog

Until that dogs accidentally pulls you or stops to poop then you’re flying off that bike

At what age can you start riding them? My previous lab would bite the front tire. Now I have a new lab puppy and he will probably do the same. A lab teething is a whole different ball game.
