I love that one guy is "man enough" to teach a friend and the other is "man enough" to ask for help.

Anyone else came to learn on YT because people are just laughing at us instead of really teaching us? Yep

I learned how to cycle 2 months ago, at the age of 33. I put the bike in my car and drove to a quiet road out of town at night and practised there, because I was too embarrassed to be seen. 2-3 nights later, I finally joined the club and now I cycle daily.

To whoever is reading this and wants to learn: I know very well how you feel, and I believe in you! Don't let your hesitation win, you can do it!

I hate the people who make fun of other people that have never rode a bike

I learnt to cycle 5 months ago at age 55. Most people thought I was too old to learn and I learnt in two days 90mins sessions. Now just loving the experience.

I did it!

I am 18 years old, and I never rode a bike. It was kind of a bad childhood. Two weeks ago, I saw one of my friends in college riding one, and it looked very fun. I was thinking that I don't want to die without giving it a try.

So I talked to him and said that I never rode one. He started laughing and thought I was joking. He was in shock when he realized that I wasn't joking. After that, he and some other friends encouraged me to buy one, so I did.

The first day of learning how to ride didn't go smoothly. It hurt to sit on the bike, and I couldn't move it. My friends started teaching me for about three hours, and then I started going in a straight line with the bike. It was a huge process for me, and after that, I fell and hurt my hand. It was very painful, and I could barely sleep that night.

For a few days, I couldn't ride it because of my hand. Then I kept training with my friends, and I fell and hurt myself many times. It really wasn't easy.

Today at 12 am, when I was about to sleep, I looked at the sky from my window, and I felt a weird positive energy. I took my bike and rode it. I was scared, but I did it anyway. I was heading to the beach near my home, and I was riding it well somehow, although I was very scared. After some time, I stopped and called my friends. I told them that I was going to the beach by bike. They thought I was joking since it was the middle of the night. I sent them a picture, and they were in shock. It was hilarious.

Then they woke up, took their bikes, and followed me. We rode together, and it was like a dream for me two weeks ago. It was unforgettable memories. I am glad that I didn't give up learning and trying.

It was completely worth it! :)

My 12 year old daughter had been trying to learn to ride a bike and was getting quite frustrated to the point of crying and saying she had given up. I suggested we search online together for tips to help her learn more easily and we came across your video. That was about 20 minutes ago... she’s outside riding my bike now! :) Thanks for the great instructional video!

I love how you are patient and willing to teach your friend how to ride a bike instead of just laughing at him for never having one like my friends did

I’m 36 years old and was so afraid of learning how to ride a bike because of fear of falling. But three days ago I decided to give a try after watching this video. Day 1 after 2 hours of trying. I was able to ride about 10 metres! Yesterday I was able to ride even longer distance, about 20 meters. And today, I was able to ride probably about 200-300 meters and also able to make big turns. Still working on my turn in a cul-du-sac and uphill. But I’m making good progress every day. All thanks to this video. I followed the exact steps. Now I can enjoy bike ride with my five year old daughter!thank you so much for this video.

I tried this and learned to ride within 20-30 minutes! I’m 18 and thought it would be impossible because I always struggled to ride. Thank you!!

I am 15, which means in my teens... With lot of courage and ignoring what others think about me I went to learn cycling today... I had always been shy about this and used to hide it from my friends but today I finally did it! The feeling is amazing not only because I learnt a new skill of cycling but because I learnt to ignore what others think about me...

For all those who want to learn it, I know its not easy but the outcome is wonderful... Just shut your ears and go for it. There's nothing you cannot!

For those who are trying to ride a bicycle - don't give up. This tutorial Is pretty good. It took me like a week to ride the bike. First few days it was terrible - trying to balance/use one leg. Sooner or later you'll learn how to glide. Once you are confident with gliding, you'll use pedal

It takes time but don't give up

For starters learning how to ride a bike, here are some tips for you:
1. Never look down, always look in front of you. Looking down will cause you to lose your balance and fall while looking in front allows you to know your surroundings.
2. Adjust the seat to your favourable position. Too high might cause you to lose grip of the pedal and fall, while too low moght cause you difficulty in turning.
3. Always have your hand/hands on the brakes. You can put your hand on one brake also, it doesn’t matter because I do that all the time. If holding on to both brakes os more comfortable to you, it is nothing different.
4. Always start off with your strong foot on the pedal. Before you start Cycling, you want to make sure you have your dominant foot on the pedal facing upwards so that you cam have a good start.

I learned how to ride a bike last week. I'm 61 years old. My mum and dad never wanted me to ride a bike for whatever reasons. I grew up and always regretted never learning. You then reach a stage of being embarrassed about trying to learn. I asked my cousin to teach me. I learnt in 15 minutes. He taught me well and simply. It helped learning in a quiet place. The surface wasn't ideal but when I fell ( which you do ) I landed on grass not concrete. After three hours of practicing turns and maintaining balance it was exhilarating. You are never too old to learn. I can now tick that off my bucket list . All I can say is, it's easier than you think. Just a pity I waited so long.

I'm a sixteen year old who's never rode a bike before but my twin sister, she loves biking, and our step dad recently aired up the tires. I wanted to go biking with her some day around town to see some places we've never really explored before since we don't get to bond too often, and this helps a lot!
