Bilingual Adventures in Ukrainian Drama: Mykola Kulish and the 2018 Cambridge Vsesvit Evening

At the Annual Cambridge Vsesvit Evening in May, we celebrated a developing translation and theatre project borne out of work in the Cambridge Ukrainian Studies programme: Maklena, a new adaptation of Mykola Kulish’s play Maklena Grasa (1933) by Night Train Theatre Company. We read excerpts of the play in both Ukrainian and English.
