why do most modern covers of earth angel try to sound emotional?
the original song was actually very upbeat with a slightly emotional undertone to it.
not only that but this is the only song by the penguins that people really know despite the fact that they have made a ton of music, some of my personal favorites by the penguins include: "devil that i see", "lover or fool", and "mr. junkman".
anyway if you like earth angel by the penguins i suggest listening to a few of these songs.

i feel like nobody appreciates this genre of music enough and more people should make covers of them.
