When the USPTO does the ✨BARE MINIMUM✨

You may know by now through self discovery or through my videos that the USPTO has been COMPLETELY backlogged with responding to trademark applications. On average, it could take 8 months for them to respond to the application. However, the USPTO had previously set 2.5 months to 7.5 months as the target timeframe to respond to TM apps. But they have since changed their target response time to 8.5 months. Ironically, I think the USPTO changed the target response time because 2.5-7.5 months was simply unrealistic. I guess you could say the USPTO is doing the bare minimum by making this change, but who knows… 😅
