This is the third of my weekly 3D Godot devlogs. This week was all about visuals and some biome changes. I am currently using godot 3.2.2, but the project is being developed with a godot 4.0 release in mind.

My setup:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9300H
RAM: 8GB
GPU: GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Mobile
Elementary OS Linux

I get more jealous of your biomes on each video. I agree with you on waiting for 4.0 to optimize it more, but it is very important to have early adopters for Godot 3D so we get more people on it. Good job!

Oh yeah! This looks great! I'm excited for the Godot 4.0 release because I think that will be the right time to give it a go, considering I like to make 3D games.

this is looking incredible, i am glad to see someone is making use of what godot has to offer! It seems pretty optimized so far but i bet you still are tweaking that :) just a bit curious, are you using gdscript or c# or another language to make this so far? Because it seems to be running very nice, I am keeping track of the project because i do love me some godot and your project looks the most promising 3d wise and i honestly do love what you've done so far with the nature scenes .. are you planning on adding other map types in the future?

These ruins look awesome, especially with those little fires about the place. Could you try and get the that purple XP point effect the surrounding area? Turning the base it is on and perhaps the nearby ruins have a purple hint to them.

Woah this looks super cool! Your lighting looks super nice. Are the trees from some sort of asset pack? They fit really well with your lighting!

I'm not sure about the new grass at 5:10. To me it looks the yellow spots are a bit too yellow and should be more like a bright green color. And also what are your gameplay plans?
