Frederic Taylor's first job as a foreman of a machine shop. He applied his organizational skills to finding the most efficient way to cut metal and along the way invented High Speed Steel. You can read his research report that was originally published in 1906 as a kindle book. "On The Art Of Cutting Metals" by Frederic Taylor.

Fredrick Winslow Taylor was born on march 20, 1856, Philadelphia US.was an American inventor and an Engineer who is known as a father of "SCIENTIFIC MANAGEMENT". His first job was as a machine shop labourer then shop clerk, machinist, gang boss, then foreman, maintenance foreman, head of the drawing office, and chief engineer.and then in 1881, at the age of 25, he introduced time study at the midvale plant.the proffesion of the time study was founded on the success of this project, which also formed the basis of Taylor's subsequent theories of management science. 🤷
