I trust any professional who’s humble and open regarding things they’ve done that went wrong…glad you’re better and thanks for the honest review (I just bought one because of your demonstration)

Worked awesome when repiping a front house or back house or when I ran copper air lines for shop air . People talk bad about it but when your making 3-400 cuts in a few days for a big job it’s worth it’s weight in gold . Even our old school hard head foreman loved it

Refreshing to hear a fellow plumber speak so well! If that accident had happened to me, I would never ever insert my finger in there like you did without pulling the battery!

Great video and educational.
He bit my glove and tore it off.
The gloves protected my hands, I was lucky.
I just didn't pay attention for a moment.
But it's a very useful tool, I like it, it saves my hands from a lot of work.
I build a lot of gas lines from 28x1.5 mm pipe, it is quite difficult to cut by hand, this machine helps a lot.
I already bought the "Raptor" version, stronger and good for steel.

From Hungary !

I love mine as well. It saves so much time and fatigue when you’re cutting copper all day long. Milwaukee just released a new version that cuts from 1-1/4” to 2” copper. It is only just now arriving at sellers. In fact, Ohio Power Tool just started selling them this week. I will be getting mine this week from my favorite place down the road.

Thanks for sharing it will help many save themselves from a tragedy to anyone, sometimes we forget about little kids or teenagers running on parents tool carts and we have to explain safety also to them . On the m12 and m18 regular drill speed 1 it has power if your not careful it can twist some hands hehe it’s great to always look out for safety …

I'm a service plumber, and I have that cutter. It is the best investment I've made. But it is dangerous.

Crazy to see your story here. Yesterday I was cutting a pipe that was about the width of the tool. With gloves on, holding the pipe from spinning, pulled the trigger. Pipe spun anyway and cut right through the leather glove and deep into the pulp of my thumb. I yelped out loud when it happened. Finished the water heater and thought that was pretty dumb of me. Probably should've gotten stitches bc it's having a hard time healing in the inside knuckle of the thumb.
Stay safe, the tool doesn't know to stop.

I helped out a plumber at for five months one time and I bought this to the second day after having to cut about 50 pieces of pipe manually. My wrist locked up with me so I went straight to Home Depot. The worst thing of it is the guy has been a plumber for over 30 years and he doesn’t even have this tool, he just doesn’t the old fashion way. Which is crazy when you need 200 pieces of 3 inch pipe for 40 mixers.

Awesome story sorry that happened to you sir. I just have 1 question about that copper cutter, I’m an electrician and we occasionally have to cut pvc pipe with wire inside; would that m12 cutter go through pvc pipe sizes 1/2, 3/4, and 1” as well?

I’ve had a few of these and I’ve found them amazing for 3/4”. But for 1/2” not so much. . Multiple springs in the head breaking. We’ve gone through a bunch of them. Might just be bad luck!

So basically you sold the hospital staff on a new tool for amputation toes and fingers.
Glad you kept your finger. I may have to get one. Have you tried pex in it before out of curiosity?

I bought one, I'm trying to set mine up to cut 1/2" EMT conduit, I use really short pieces that have to be cut good and straight.
