I live in Mexico, & I just want to share what I've heard IRL, (mostly from older people, ) & what was explained to me: Some Mexicans have a hateful, xenophobic mindset, that the people from South America are making Mexicans and other Latinos look bad to the USA. I disagree with any Nationalistic mindset because it leads to tragedies like this. Also, that governor sucks for calling the family of victims- "Illegal Immigrants". Rhetoric like that is part of the problem.
