Cutting Trees Next To Power Lines - No.40

I have several trees to cut down next to high voltage power lines (12,000 volts). The trees have to be removed to make my parking area larger and to accommodate the entrance to my forest road.

Sorry to say it but as someone who work with powerline trees daily you did pretty much every mistake in the book. You must do the face cut before pulling a tree over center/lean otherwise you create a dangerous tension in the fibers causing a widowmaker/barber chair. Instead of using ropes n chains a simple 6mm wire attached with a strap in the tree you want to fell and a strap w. block in the direction you want it leading the wire to a car or wire pulley will make this much faster.
