IE B9 A4 Cold Air Intake Install (DIY)

Instructions on how to install the IE cold air intake on your 2017+ Audi A4 2.0T.

Definitely not as easy as the video makes it seem but not terrible to install. The instructions weren’t super clear but still relatively easy to follow. It took me about an hour and a half to put on but man was it worth it!!! The sound difference is night and day. There are many smiles to be had from all the turbo noises coming out of the engine bay after the install.

How do you install the stuff to mount the rubber mounts?

What makes this a cold air intake as opposed to the stock system? The air comes from the same source. And the stock filter actually filters more than the filter you used.

Why does the a4 b9 have holes in the oem intake? Doesnt it get much warmer air this way?

Could this work on an Audi A6 2.0T C7.5 2016? The engine bay looks almost identical and I’m pretty sure both the b9 and c7 have the same exact engine.
