Create a Distressed Text Effect in Inkscape

In this Inkscape lesson, we'll create a round text logo that has a distressed appearance. We'll get practice with path operations, text manipulation, using Trace Bitmap to apply textures, using the Jitter Nodes extension, and using the Noise Fill filter.

Thanks for the video. This is the first video of yours I have come across. I found your channel through the YouTube algorithm's suggestion. I am new to InkScape and still watching a lot of tutorials. I like your format and the content of this video. I would like to make a few suggestions: One, at the beginning of the video, it is helpful to state what version of the software you are giving the tutorial on. Two, when demonstrating the steps of the workflow, I see it as very important that the presenters of tutorials give a short pause on menu choices. Example: In one step of the process, you say, "Click [Text], and then click [Put on Path]." I would ask that just before you click the final choice in that menu, and then the menu "disappears", just give a slight pause. Pause just long enough so that when someone making notes, or when someone didn't quite hear what you said, they will be able to clearly see what you are clicking on, and where that is. Thank you but the version you are using is very different, presumably older (?) than the version I have. Can’t locate some of the icons you select so can’t follow the tutorial through to the end. Sorry

when i click difference on the circle it makes a line across it. from the 2 ends
