for anyone who says this tempo is i think this is even quicker than the borodin string quartet recording I'm used to listen to. this tempo is fine and they play it very cleanly too. superb performance! I'M IN LOVE!!!! man I need to listen to the whole piece of their performance...

To all the people saying this is too slow, it's not because it's a difficult piece and they can't play it fast, (cuz if you can play it slow, you can play it quickly 😪) but because it sounds much cleaner and refined in this tempo.

i think that this tempo is very good, they play it very convincingly, so many qualities and harmonic changes come out. Many performances of this are so fast that it sounds just like a mess and the content suffers

Tempo in the notes is marked as semibreve = 120! They played 118-121. It's an original tempo! Minim = 240. Not more!
