Guinea must demand for the processing of its iron ore to produce steel for export, within Guinea. So should all other African countries!
Guinea must learn from Tanzania. During the reign of Nyerere in Tanzania iron ore and coal was discovered and he refused for it to be exploited until a particular time in future when Tanzanian intellectual and technical capacity is developed to have control and benefit from their minerals. During the time of Pombe Magafuli presidency all minerals which were produced in Tanzania were also being processed in Tanzania.
Learn also from Muammar Gaddafi he made oil to support his people and before he was killed Libya was the highest socially developed country in the world.
No African country should sanction the theft of it's minerals by foreigners. That will be the perpetuation of Colonialism and Imperialism.

Thanks for making this video and illustration. Very detail and easy to understand. We are living in a turbulent world when geopolitics interrupted normal trade relations. For decades China and Australia were easygoing buddies but suddenly things became hostile in recent years. Even somday China has successfully developed the Iron ore in Guinea, still there will be a war in the Indian Ocean. When China has to present a massive navy escorting these materials to China soil. A big conflict is ahead of human world.

Hey man. Thank you for this vid, any plan for the future of this channel? Considering youtube's algorithm now heavily favors channels that also produce shorts alongside videos.
Some advice ( if possible for you)
Vids and shorts about brazil and India usually attract quite some views from people from those countries ( use the correct india map tho)
Best of luck and keep up the great work!

Cost of shipping from Australia also cheaper, plus also low cost (if not lowest) producers.

Any chance to have a deep dive into the future of deep sea mining with there being no regulations set for it?

The project will cost $20 billion, and construction will start this year. Congrats to the Guinean government for ensuring this project has started, and Guinea will be a significant shareholder in the mine and logistics projects.

China's dependence on Australian iron ore makes it vulnerable in the US trade war against China. The US has already taken measures to attack China's economic development by banning the sales of semi-conductor chips to China. The US could at any time instruct Australia to cut off supplies of iron ore to China. If China can develop alternate sources of supply, like the potential iron ore mines in Guinea, it takes this economic weapon away from the US.
