3 Years of Non-Stop Travel!
Days on the road: 1,096
To describe it is daunting. The mere words seem insufficient and puny. How could any collection of words or phrases properly convey the sense of gratitude we feel? How could they describe the way we’ve been humbled and changed by the experiences we’ve had, the people we’ve met, and the feeling that we’ll never be the same people again?
It’s been wonderful, enriching, enlightening, incredible, educational, exciting, amazing, delicious, intoxicating, adventurous, humbling, challenging, rewarding…in short, life-changing. Our whole perception of the world has changed. Our values have changed. Hell, even our taste buds have changed. The world is an incredible place because of its diversity of people, cultures, languages, and wonders. It’s a beautiful place because of the way these things all blend together. And it’s an interesting place because of all the things that travel can teach you.
It hasn’t always been easy, but we wouldn’t change one minute of everything we’ve gone through. It has been the single greatest thing we’ve had the privilege to experience and every time we reflect on the last 3 years, it always leads us back to one feeling. Gratitude.
Thank you to everyone who has followed along, supported us, and become a friend. It has been one hell of a ride.
On to the next adventure!
