Chums surfshot! Been my EDC for about 3 years now. It carries my ID, insurance cards, 2-3 credit cards I actually use, some cash, a quarter for when I go to Aldi's, a fisher space bullet pen and extra small notebook. I love that thing and recommend it highly.

On month 8 of extended travel and the Chums Surfshorts wallet was exactly what I needed. Perfect for coins + airbnb keys but bill folding is still an unfortunate reality. The internal divider in the primary pocket lets me keep subway tickets / immediate needs separated from emergency cards. Was dubious of the low price and questionable style but it's my utility dream. So glad this one showed up in the vid!

Tried so many wallets but still back to the good old Chums. It's so simple in design but so perfect. Everything is secure in the zipper. There's also a window for my license. And plenty of space for cards. But when it's not filled up, it's super minimalist. You can practically crinkle the wallet into a ball if there's nothing in it, super portable and minimalist. When traveling and I have large currency bills, then I'll use the SlimFold MICRO Minimalist .

It’s really nice having a channel like this. Mostly when i look for videos of mondaim Stuff like those it’s often just a auto voice that just read up from a website peg.

After several minimalistic wallets I finally landed on the Tatonka Card Holder RFID B. As minimalistic as it gets, the RFID blocking actually works 100% of the time and its dirt cheap!
If mine breaks, another one will hold up for several years as well. 10/10

I use the ALPAKA Zip Pouch, great EDC wallet, small, versatile with RFID protection, been using it for over 6 months and love it.

I have been using the Bellroy card pocket for a few years, now.

After trying both ways, I find that folding the bills into thirds is MUCH thinner than folding the bills into quarters.

Every time PH shows this wallet, you guys always show it with the cards crammed into the cash pocket, with the cash in the open middle. On the Bellroy site, it seems that it is designed to be used the other way around, with the cash in the small pocket, and the cards in the middle. I've tried both ways, and cards in the middle allows much easier access.

Plus, an emergency hundo, again folded in thirds, stashes nice in the hidden coin pocket.

I have been traveling with the chums surf shorts wallet for 5 months plus used it at home for 5 months before leaving. Over all I like it, however zipper wallets are a bit feminine but I don't mind and it is only big enough for some bills. It fits usd and inr folded in half. It fits about 17 bills one side and 5 cards on the other. In the slip that also has the key ring coming out is where I put my really small bills. 5, 10, 20, 50 inr notes. Folded on 3rds so in addition to what I mentioned above it also holds 15 bills and it has a key ring. For 15$ it's been a great choice.

I carry the now discontinued RAW wallet in black. But, Amazon sells a clone model named Infinity Wallet. It's an elastic style sleeve that fits about 6-8 cards and can hold folded bills sandwiched in-between. I've had it for about 4.5 years. I love it!

I love my Secrid wallet, but I have the full wallet instead of just the card sleeve. That gives me the option for some paper bill storage and room for an additional 4 credit cards. I'm surprised that wasn't the Secrid to demonstrate in your review.

The Chums one would be my go to since I use cash and coins more than I do cards. When I need to charge to make a payment or purchase, then I use my smartphone since I usually have the bank's app installed.

Just got it, but I landed on a Kingsloot Hybrid wallet. I was using a NOMATIC-like elastic wallet, which I loved for years, but a recent trip made me want something that made cash easier to deal with. It's smaller than you might think (~30% larger than my elastic wallet), but it lies much flatter and has a much smaller volume than any leather wallet I've ever seen. I think I like it.

That’s cool I guess. I have just been wrapping my cards in a rubber band. The most lightweight and minimalist it gets :)

Got a minimalist wallet that is perfect for me, it has space for about 6 cards i only need space for 3 and a solid plastic side area for my drivers licence, simple push and the cards pop up. Also has a clasp for money, well not over 5 or so notes as it is rather stiff to pull the band which is good as it holds the note in place, metal frame makes it sturdy and is the first wallet i have had that has been partially made from metal, i love it and believe it is the perfect size, only a few mm bigger than a credit card. I paid £4.99 with one day delivery so it was a test really to see if i could get used to a minimalist wallet, most of which have space for 12 card, as a minimalist wallet i could do with it only having space for 4 cars max and one or two of those cardholders to be windows one on each side, not the cheap thin plastic paper but solid plexiglass. I am sure someone will come out with something like that as a real minimalist wallet, just to find it.

Great suggestions! I'm still searching for my go-to wallet. Tried Nomatic, and Tom Bihn but not convinced fully. Tried magsafe wallet but too small. I think I need a zipped one when traveling as I use cash in some countries. So I wanted the Bellroy Zip but without leather.. possibly Chums might be my option.

I've been using the slimfold micro wallet for 7 years and whatever tech fabric they use is amazing. It's been through scrapes and scratches and even dredged from a river. I had a hard time moving away from the classic wallet style, and thankfully this one has a bill section and space for cards. only downside is that euros poke out and having too many singles can make it kinda fat.

A wallet I swear by is the Taxicat wallet from Big Skinny Wallets. It's not quite as minimal as the ones you presented in the video, but I can easily carry it in either my pocket or purse. It can hold several cards and opens like a billfold to hold cash. It also includes a zip pocket in back for coins or small items. The nylon version comes in lots of colors and prints. The leather version comes in a few colors as well.

Sporting the i-Clip Radio Impact Stainless Steel for a year now. Best wallet I ever had: space for 10 cards, a clip for cash and an AirTag pocket, all with a form factor barely larger than the credit cards themselves (apart from the thickness, obviously). The only downside is that the steel version scratches easily.
