I really feel that REQUESTING a crusade against a high weight target shouldn’t give you a -100 opinion with the Pope lol. Maybe ya know, changing the target through the menu to a lower weight off of a higher weight should do that? Just a thought Paradox.

Was doing my own version of tag switching characters in HIP, started in 867 as the Abbasid Caliph, reunified the eastern portion of the Islamic world under Abbasid rule, switched over to become a Karling and formed the HRE with France and all of Germany, Italy under the empire, then went over to become a Norwegian king, reformed the faith and even got a child of destiny son. Currently switched over to try to make Romuva reformed and maybe gonna see what would the child of destiny do ;)

I really like the idea of you trying to form Poland, this will be hard when nomads are at your door, kiev russia almost form empire and even romans seems stronger then polish tribes. Of course I'm talking about the situation where you play the last free tribe Mazowia and as far as i know you don't play Poland very often or ever :p
