ChatGPT built Cortana with Unity

I think that making that demo was a good idea, a very nice proof of concept.

Coincidentally (yesterday), I saw a post on LinkedIn in a Unity + X.R. Group, in which someone connected ChatGPT + 2 more tools to make a NPC whose brain was basically ChatGPT, transformed into an Avatar in V.R. (to have meaningful Conversations about Life, The Meaning Of Life, and some other "silly" 😅 Questions we would like someone to answer). In the demo the NPC was a Franciscan 1800's Monk, whom he asked some existential questions... It got pretty interesting in the end 😮 . Your demo is pretty similar to that one, and interesting to play with.

I've been thinking for a while that it would be sweet to link ChatGPT to a model in Unity to make a "smart Talking Tom" app.

This is so awesome. I just wish Microsoft would keep using Jen Taylor (Cortana's voice actress) as the voice in their new Copilot AI, or at least released her text to speech capabilities as an API. Since they discontinued Cortana, they seem to plan to let jen taylor's text-to-voice database die with it.

Thankfully with the sunrise of AI generated voice, I'm sure we can use a few of Cortana's lines in game to get cortana to say anything ChatGPT puts out :)

compelling for me would be integrating a free local chatGPT like Vicuna into games, actual chatGPT is reasonably expensive for API access so not really practical for game dev or home use
