i had good experience with MOXA product, but i wish you can have better technial document and have a technial support number that i can call in. and i wish you are able to setup remote assitance as well. by the way, you can sell your technial support service just like others do.

Dear Sir,


I have opposite case.


I have 3 Devices, each devices has already been connected each other using Modbus TCP protocol, and then connected to MOXA.


This MOXA will be connected to our DCS using Modbus RTU, RS-485 2 wire.


Can you give me example how to configure the MOXA. I use MOXA MB3170.

Do you need to configure for the slave id ? I have a gas analyzer which output result via Modbus RTU and has a slave id of 11. I couldn't find this slave id when I tried to use auto detection to configure the time out response. Any help ?

Moxa should be spelled "Moaxa" with the way this guy pronounces it. In my opinion, Moxa is M'-Ox-a... like "mocks ya". If you want the other pronunciation you should have used "oax" like Hoax.
