I think a very good 1c character for lim is the new purple law searcher, because many odyssey cards are also strawhats, as well as the 9c secret zoro (a good ramp objective for lim), as well as the odyssey law. Also, this allows for a cheap character that you can rest anytime to have your "if you have 2 or more rested characters" abilities active. I wish we had another 1c odyssey searcher tho, excited to see what you cook :D

A card that doesn't exist but would fill a role needed for Lim imo:

1 cost, 0 power, 2k counter
Character is whatever
Effect: This character cannot be K.O.ed by battle. This card cannot be made active in refresh phase.

It will give you a body on the field that's always rested as early as turn 1, to turn on other character effects. It has to be dealt with by effect removal. But you cannot use it as anything other than just a rested body on the field. Then later in the game if you draw it, it's a 2k.

in testing Lim did fairly decent! imo Lim is mad underrated.! ramping to 9c op06 Zoro while doffy protects him feels amazing.

3cost chopper allows you to keep board active.

He lets you use other characters who need multiple things rested to get a restand. The doffy blocker gets helped a bunch by this.

Pretty sure the reason the Odyssey Sanji gets 4 costs is so he can’t bring himself back.

The new Perona 2k counter just revived my faith into the Perona leader, should be interesting in OP09, just to think that you can search for the Gecko Moria and have more trash recursion with the stage, its even better because you dont have to use it directly, just use it as 2k counter then bring it back and cycle your hand, it took a long time for Bandai to give us some love at the Perona camp

Wait if you use that 1c boxing solid event…..can you re stand characters that are being attacked?! Like for example if someone declares an attack on my 9c zoro could I use that event to re stand that zoro???

For a new player, akainu needs 2 rested characters, does this include the leader if rested?

I thought entering rested, prevented "On Play" abilities.
