Yeah, I live in North central KS oka BFE and round here the secondary tool market consists of tools with three to four years heavy use people want nearly what they paid for it three to four years ago, and old beat up junk somebody wants to call, "vintage" just to make a buck.

Do you have more information on The Tower of Silence? I am always looking for ways to cut notices levels and your Tower of Silence sounds intriguing.

There is still no better table saw than a delta unisaw. If you can find a used one on craigslist buy it. If you have space a powermatic 66 is also great. Had my unisaw for 60 years.

Damn, those are not in the 400.00.range. The Delta table saw is unavailable anywhere. Bummer!

I bought one of the Harbor Freight benches. They are cheap and flimsy in materials and DO NOT hold up. Don't waste your money. For the same money, you can buy 2x4 lumber and build your own bench that is much stronger and will last longer. I wish I had done that, and I plan to do it in the near future.

Thank you for mentioning Cutech! I was just going to comment about that company and then you said it! I am a beginning wood worker and got the 8 inch wide with the carbide tips and it is incredible! It really opened my world up! Keep making these vids! I appreciate all your advice!

I’m in a pickle, What in your opinion is a better jointer? The bench top delta from Lowe’s or the Cutech jointers ? Delta has cast iron surfaces and I traditional cutter and the cutech has a spiral cutter but aluminum surfaces

Awesome videos. I have so many channels that I'm subbed to that I've become very picky when adding a new one. After watching a few of your vids.... you good sir have earned a new sub!

The workbench at our Harbor Freight was rock solid. If the screws are tight, it's solid.

Do boards warp in the lumber rack with only 2 supports? Could double up for extra support.

Cutech changed their name to Wahuda Tools and released a new line of helical bench top jointers with cast iron tables late 2019.

Skip the small jointer with a really good blade in your table saw you can get a glue line rip and a simple jig to straighten the edge of a board or a cutting guide with your your hand circular saw and a good blade. With the money you save buy the good DeWalt thickness planer. I had a small well made jointer it broke never fixed it never missed it.
Investment in good saw blades.

What is your recommendation on a bench grinder? So many things on the market today seem like crap...

Why not the Porter Cable 8 amp drill press and the 5amp belt sander?

Great seeing blains farm n fleet! I'm starting to use my garage as my workspace after we finished our basement. Using your recommendations from many of your videos and creating my workspace. Thanks!

A comment on the miter saw: I had a Lowe's cheapo for years. I used it for just about everything in the apartment renovation work I was doing. I cut copper pipe, ABS pipe, flooring and I even cut wood with it. It was very portable, it had supports that pulled out of the side. Over the years it gradually broke apart and I decided to buy a fancy new 10 inch DeWalt compound miter saw to replace it. It was awesome. It made extremely accurate and smooth cuts. It was a joy to use. But the truth is the cheapo saw was better for my purposes. The cheapo was lighter and the pull out supports were great. The pullout supports for the DeWalt are an option that cost just about as much as my cheapo saw did. But they don't fit into the saw so using them involves carrying extra stuff around. In the end it turned out that the cheapo Lowes saw fit my needs better but using the DeWalt is much nicer and maybe that's worth something and of course most people that use the DeWalt use it with a miter saw stand or use it in a dedicated miter saw bench and then the DeWalt wins hands down even if it costs three times what the cheapo costs which it does.
