OK, so its here. this is a quick video to let you all know that Android users can now download the latest DJI Fly 1.2.4 app vesrion. we now have things like cruise control in hyperlapse etc. I will do another more in depth review later.

And so Android users now have the ability to download the Fly app version 1.2.4 which has functions only availble for IOS users on 1.2.2. NOTE: It is not availble from Google Playstore, so you have to download the APK file from DJI website; I have a left a link to click on in the description notes above to help.

As yet, the only main difference Ive seen is that android users now get the cruise control in free mode hyperlapse by using the funtion button.

Thank for the video. I haven't gotten any update since the first time in September. (As your recommendation) Aircraft firmware V01.00.0.0340. Everything until now is fine. But the signal is not that good within 2km. What do you think?

In today's world of daily software releases, change tracking, etc., not having proper release notes is inexcusable - ESPECIALLY when it's for something like a drone where a change to flight characteristics could make for a dangerous situation.

Thanks, I still say I saw this in December, but then it went away. Good to have it back. Another big youtuber out of San Diego, had an update of the "new" Fly app that he showed video zoom back on August 20th. It is a little number to the left the the red video button. He also said you could zoom by holding the fn button and scrolling the gimbal up and down wheel. This was on the Air 2. Has anyone else been able to do this or is this another Android release issue? I did see that it works with the mini2. Don't know it it is Android or not. Thanks!
