Visited Peniscola in 1968..what a shock to see the enormous change of this quaint little village where we rented a little cottage not far from the beach with our 5 children..my husband was in the USAF stationed at Turajon AF base and we were there at Peniscola on vaction for 30 days..my children ran freely through the village and platyed with the children who lived there.. people lived up in the castle and their animals lived beneath their quarters. They still traveled in carts pulled by donkeys..progress is inevitable but Seeing it in the video makes me wish for slower simpler days...sigh😢
