4 Must Have JIG TRAILERS // Jig Fishing For BASS

There are hundreds of jig trailers on the market, however, there are 4 trailer actions that are probably the most important in bass fishing!

HOW TO GET BASS FISHING SPONSORS:

FOLLOW ME:

I really love to use craw jig trailers during the warm water months and chunk style trailers during cold weather months. Fishing a swim jig I will typically use a boot tail swimsuit as a trailer and when conditions get tough, a senko or fat worm on the back of a trailer can be hard to beat!

BassFishingHQ is dedicated to teaching people how to catch more and bigger bass. I will go over different bass fishing tips & techniques that will put more fish in the boat or on the shore. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned tournament angler, my goal is to help you catch more bass.

I love jig fishing. Love to cast from bank into middle of trees and lay downs. Let it soak for about 20 seconds then jig slight up down for 2-3 minutes. Also my go to is dragging and reeeling slowly. You have to let the bass get it Have patience before you set the hook. The biggest fish I caught hit it really subtle. That’s what I do. All my techniques I got from This site and couple more YouTube channels. Thanks for everything you post Tyler. I’m a much better angler bc of you.

Very good segment. Jig fishing is my all-time favorite. A couple other trailers I like to use are a fluke or a brush hog style trailer. The fluke works especially well during the spawn, but it’s worked well for me in the summer heat too. Works great when twitched across a hard-bottom, like a shakey-head.

You hit the nail on the head with using half of a senko for a jig trailer. Me and my buddy call it tossing the darts. It slays. I don’t think many people throw a jig like that so it gets them curious. I just subscribed dude, great channel.

Great video. I really got back into bass fishing and tournaments last year and the swim jig with the kietech was the juice for me. I'm looking forward to more of your tournament breakdowns this year.

I've also heard of Florida/southern guys rigging the worm perpendicular to the hook like a wacky rig on a jig. I've tried it in the NE but havent had much luck.

Really enjoyed this video. I really new to jig fishing. Last year I started fishing jigs and had some luck. I have been using Beast Coast swim jig mostly. I was just wondering what do you recommend as far as type of jig and maybe even the brand.
Thanks for your help
Tony

Great video. I clicked on your link for sponsors and it has some sort of ad to another page, and can't watch the video

An option that almost nobody ever considers for a trailer is a TUBE. This is such a mistake! Some of my best smallmouth have been caught on a ⅛oz bitsy jig in black&blue paired with a 3½" tournament style tube in ghost/purple fleck. A 2" bitsy tube is also great if you want a smaller profile.
My working theory is that this resembles a molting crayfish, which is something smallmouth everywhere CAN'T resist.
Solid body tubes are also a great option for this setup, although those are becoming increasingly hard to find.

Ok, this is a comment on the sponser video, my biggest need is actually a truck, and a good boat with decent equipment. I'm on disability so my funds are limited and money would be nice, but any money I got would in turn be spent in my own way to go fish when I wanted to which is all the time lol seriously though, I receive minimum disability in n.c, it's not much, I do what I can but that's my biggest wanted necessity

I tried the big magum work style trailer one night just because I knew there was big bass in that pond. I'm actually very thankful, it's good to know that I'm making good decisions in my bass fishing, and thanks even more for the sponser video, havent watched It yet or gotten any sponsers so wish me luck and check out my Instagram @bass.assassination (no I don't keep or harm the bass I catch it's just a name lol)
