Living in this world
Sure doesn’t feel good
People keep suffering
Powerless to stop it

Everybody’s gotta pick a side and dig in
Are we gonna make a little time for healing?

When you said we're building peace, well I believed it
Oh but these days there's just no way to guarantee it
So you send your thoughts and prayers
as all your bombs fly through the air
now I've seen the children die, I can't unsee it
I can't unsee it

I believe in love
It's what we’re made of
But it's hard to see
When you’re screaming at me

Everybody’s gotta die upon their hill
Are we gonna live or gonna keep on killing?

When you said we're building peace, well I believed it
Oh but these days there's just no way to guarantee it
So you send your thoughts and prayers with bullets flying thru the air
now I've seen the children die, I can't unsee it
I can't unsee it

This reminds me of the 60's young people, me among them. Keep up the fight for justice for the common people.

'Now I've seen the children die, I can't unsee it' There has been too much silence around this genocide taking place. Thank you for speaking out Martin, keep on speaking out!

Love Martin’s songs. Have been a fan since he was on Canadian Idol and I was also a fan of Joan Baez protest songs in the 60’s. Martin is what we need in this world of sadness and turmoil. ❤🎶

I'm so glad I found you. I have a hard time crying, it just won't come out. But, your words, the tone, ... Thank you. I'm old and saw this coming. It's here. If we can work together, maybe just maybe, we can save the beauty.

Martin, you give an old geezer like me hope and you bring light in these inkblack bleak, hostile, war-ridden times of greed and lust for power.

"I can't unsee it."
Everything in me is so profoundly disturbed... This sentence is a painful entry into this new year.
May we all do what we can.
Unite and organize. Speak and act.
