Thank you so much for that ultra fast reply regarding needle size.. ( I stupidly deleted that comment, darn it). I had later in the video noticed the use of the jean needle for the top stitching which is here I've been breaking needles ( and I'm sewing my Bowl Cozys on my EPIC 95Q)... I'm going to use a 1/2 seam and press it open and that should help with the bulk.... I'm so dedicated to watching your videos... and oh yes for the Creative Grids rulers.. and I'm in heaven with the newer left handed ones... thank you for all you do, and teach... it does not go unnoticed....

The large cozies are great to take your dish to church potlucks, work etc. Helps to keep your dish warm and easy to identify your dish when it’s time to go.. I love these.
I made my Mom a set with matching napkins.
The outer fabric has a black background with beautiful gold crosses with the words of Amazing Grace written all through the print. There are burgundy roses with small green leaves.
The reverse side is a polka dot green that matches the green in the leaves.
I can’t wait to give them to Mom.
Thank you so much for your love of sharing with us.

I've made mine! Awesome tutorial. I did trim the bulk away and trimmed the darts area. I suggest that this will surely help someone with lots of thumbs. Great great Tutorial as usual

I’ve made the smaller version. Instead of sewing around the edges and turning inside out, I’ve used bias binding strips. It’s my preferred method. Plan to make the larger version with the bias binding strips. Thanks for the tutorial.

These are really great. I made the small one and I used it all the time. Even made one for my sister and she uses hers all the time too. =^^=

Made one of my bowl cozy with the flag print. I love these, I use a 9 in more than the 10 in. I have Rynaulds in my hands, and these help immensely, mine are for soup, cereal bowls

If you aren't good at free motion quilting, choose a small dense pattern for your bowl buddy. Also use a thread colored the same as the background and all those stitches will disappear, but your project will get quilted and you'll get to practice. I practice when I'm mending rags. After the first one I thought I'd never get it (I've been watching too much Angela Walters). But after being washed, I looked at it again and realized I was too critical. Give yourself some grace! With practice I've improved and so will you! 💖🌞🌵😷

These larger cozies are great. What are the measurements of the vertical and horizontal cuts that you make for the pleats please? 😃
