OMG u are awsome man thanx so much i had bought my sinden guns and had em packed up in the box never used in months
cause i was thinking how would i get em to work on pc i tought i would have to set up each ps2 games myself on windows with psx2 emulator but then i wanted it in a nice menu to just choose a game like this i did know about retro lizard build for a wile but his didnt have the ps2 games so u takeing that build and adding ps2 games is so sick :D this is what i wanted

Your issues with HOTD4 are also felt with any builds of RPCS3.

The devs have still yet to implement Move shake support so HOTD4 PS3 is completely unplayable until you play with a controller and even then you need a PS3, PS4 or PS5 controller to play because of the shaking motion. Even the original cabinet's guns had the shaking to reload and push away enemies.

HOTD4 is one of those light gun games that really needs a lot of work put into it, even playing the game through Teknoparrot reveals that the game is speed sensitive and some PC's will run the game way too quickly even if you tell your GPU to limit the game at 60FPS

Firstly, appreciate the video. My question: any experience adding a pedal to a Batocera setup with Sinden? I want to create the arcade feel, but the Linux of it all seems to not want to accept a pedal into the mix. I've read rumors that pedals might be added to be a future Bat build, but just curious if you've tried it.

How are the fast pace games like point blank especially with multiplayer is it fast enough and accurate

very usefull video. I have the same setup on an old laptop all seems to run well but i can't get the PS emulator to work properly. When ever the PS2 emulator starts up the Sinden border is appears and then gun can't track its position. if you have any ideas that would be great. im on version 37.

some wii games they need shake to reload. I was able to get it to work when i F1 and change the inputs and run the game in dophine. But when I rerun the game in Batocera it doesn’t save the input change?

Hi, thanks for the tutorial. We now of course have Batocera 38. I have this installed to boot from my pc. Is there any way to add this light gun setup to my existing setup with Batocera 38 or does this have to replace it completely. Thanks

So high scores save on the MAME games ? Specifically point blank 1, 2 and 3 ? I was going for retro shooter to mod a cab but the point point blank games are PlayStation versions.

I would think you'd need an elgato connected to a second computer to capture footage.

What I don't know is what the specs on the second computer would have to be so that gameplay captured is good enough.

i put it in a ryzen7 mini pc (more or less 250 euro on amazon) and it works fine, ps3 and wii included

what do you do to see all your folders under ROMS, i cant see ps2 ps3, Wii, switch folders in my case .

Most of the MAME games do not show with a great resolution on a 55 inch TV for example. They are quite pixelated. I tried fixing it a bit with the X and Y strech value in MAME, but Im wondering if there is a way to make them look similar to how the Naomi games look which is way better. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hey Bob: thanks for your videos regarding the Batocera Lightgun Image. I do own Sinden Guns and on my PC the image is very much plug and play and works flawlessly. However, if I try using the Batocera Image on my Mini PC connected to my TV, for some reason the guns don't work. I can hold Left D-PAD for like 5 long seconds and try and calibrate but basically it just doesn't work = the crosshair of the gun is still all over the place after that. On Alien 3 (MAME) the crosshair is just stuck on the upper left corner of screen. I can use the Left D-PAD and shoot to calibrate but right after I do, the crosshair just goes back to being stuck in the upper left corner...

Any idea on what I could do?

i've seen i can't play ENDGAME for ps2 and RESIDENT EVIL DEAD AIM/SURVIVOR for psx/ps2, anyone knows how to?
