Can't believe he did all of this just to prepare himself for the role of Michael Jordan in Space Jam

Underrated, but still cool stat by MJ.

8 straight seasons without losing 3 in a row, including playoffs.

Can I add on the fact that he averages more offensive rebounds than lebron. MJ against the hawks in 1997 was actually the team's leading scorer and rebounder. That is impressive for a shooting guard.

This guy scored 41 ppg in a Finals series and it just seems normal. 🐐

An honorable mention: Giannis won the MVP and DPOY in 2019-20, but he was 5th in the scoring leader category with 29.5 PPG. Harden had that crazy scoring season with 34.3 PPG. So MJ combined both Harden's and Giannis' accomplishments of 2020 back in 1988, that's mind-boggling.

Jordan was averaging 31.45 points per game then he came out of retirement and averaged a point less crazy

What a story at the end. MJ dropping 44 while being buzzed is one I’ve never heard before but something I’ll surely remember from now on 😆

Let's be honest, he should have won mvp almost every year he played but the league felt like they had to give others a chance

the reason he is the goat is because he has zero weakness in his game. And he is a monster defender.

Another crazy stat line from 1985-93 playoffs Michael Jordan, averaged 34.7 points 6.6 assists 6.7, rebounds 2.3 steals one block. on 50, 35 and 83 splits. 2:1 assist to turnover ratio That’s what you
call having no weakness.

You don't need stats. Everyone who actually has seen Jordan play knows he is the best ever to play the game. I was a Showtime Lakers die-hard fan, Magic was my GOAT and Larry was my nemesis (but I knew he was special..I knew he was GOAT status as well) When MJ came, we all looked dat each other as if Jesus landed on earth to play for a while and have fun with the rest of us. The difference was HUGE. And to this day, it still is. I love Kobe, I thought he was the next best thing...but NO ONE, NO ONE will be MJ. IF ANYONE EVER comes close again...don't worry we will let you know :)

MJ's 1987-88 season is the best individual season in NBA history.

MVP, DPOY, ASG MVP, All-NBA First Team, All-NBA Defensive First Team, Scoring Champ, *and* Steals Leader. And won the Slam Dunk Contest for good measure. lol.

Jordan’s base stats are so good we don’t even hear bout these ones that’s how yk he’s the greatest doesn’t need much to explain his impact

I'm glad I was able to see him play and went to go see space jam in theaters as a kid. I feel bad for those that didn't get to chance to see him play. The GOAT 🐐

Aside from all statistics why I considered MJ as my G.O.A.T is his killer instinct which makes him a winner.

I just want to lay this out here.

Imagine if Jordan did not retire TWICE, Jordan was drafted straight from high school, did not get injured or even played with a top 5 player when he played for the Wizards at the age of 38-40.

Just imagine...

Didn’t need to prove it. He’s the goat. From a Lebron fan
