Just purchased this product yesterday and with an S22 Ultra the "Tripod" plastic legs aren't working too well with it so far. Maybe the phone is too heavy but a steadier tripod will be on order for it. Just needs one with a wider stance.

Michael, this looks great, but after using the 13 Pro Max and 12 Pro Max for a year I'm still not sure why I'd need a gimbal. I sometimes shoot with the phone on a monopod which works great, but handheld clips have looked mostly very good - I only see bad shake when I'm moving side-on to the subject and flub the ninja walk.

I see you've concentrated here on Apple phone use - it is worth pointing out that the Android version of the Powervision software no longer has editing despite their ads and various claims around the web - and on the Samsung S22 Ultra at least, causes severe audio drop-outs.

When shooting in portrait mode on the iphone 14 pro, the end of the gimbal is visible at the bottom of the screen. Is this normal?

Regarding Prores; could you just set the iPhone to shoot in Prores, then use the gimbal’s app for the rest? I certainly like the option for the gimbal to follow you around while it sits on a tripod etc

Pretty expensive at $230 when the smooth 5 just came out. I like the pocket size of it, but I’m not so sure it will hold up like a bigger gimbal that’s built a bit tougher.
