Almost all my cutting boards I bought at Home Goods and none of them were more than $40.
The set of plastic cutting boards with different colored edges I bought at Costco several years ago, also very inexpensively, I think they were $15-$20. (I don't see a brand name on any of the cutting boards mentioned above.)

Ran straight to my cupboard to sniff the cutting boards! Lol. My epicurean boards don't smell like a thing; I used them for all sorts fruits and veggies daily.

I would like to point out that users, especially those using good Japanese knives avoid using Bamboo boards. Bamboo, which is actually a grass, not a wood - has a very high mineral content and will dull those super fine edged knives.
