EUA webinar - Key issues in effective curriculum design

The programme students follow throughout their studies is a defining factor in their overall learning experience. The design of coherent, fit-for-purpose curricula should therefore be a central issue in every institution’s approach to shaping its individual learning and teaching strategy and policy. This process should also involve stakeholders, most importantly students, to ensure the relevance of the curriculum.
This webinar explored various aspects to consider when designing curricula. It presented selected findings of the 2019 EUA Learning & Teaching Thematic Peer Groups, in particular from the curriculum design group, but also of the other three on internationalisation, evidence-based approaches and student assessment.
