This is great. I also found that I can highlight some text (view / edit mode) and wait for the JIRA icon to appear. Clicking that opened a form to create JIRA. I love this feature. The table to JIRA creation would be very useful.

It's frustrating as the link to epic never work, and I shall like to create issues for the selected rows!

Nice feature, nice explanation. Only the background music distracted me a little bit. Thank you very much!

If one just could add custom fields into that creating screen would resolve all of our problems...

Why not just use custom macros to automate this stuff? So if I create an "epic" page that equates to a high level requirement like "user dashboard". Then once that epic page is created, you actually use some data from the page to create the epic in Jira instead of having to retype summaries and trigger dialogue boxes. Then you automatically backfill the epic page with the epic id. Next, you have a table on the page for the user stories and then a macro that converts each line in the table to a story in Jira. Then I want to backfill the table with the Jira Issue number. From there, I then want to automate the creation of testing plans. This seems like it's all possible but I keep running into road block after road block with the cloud version and the new editor. Why do double work? What's the point of having tight integration if you can't automate this. Unfortunately cloud versions don't support custom macros and a few other things needed to make something like this work. How do you get custom jira fields to show up in confluence? It seems like the display issue stuff is too limited. We run a lean team, we have a PM / BA, Senior Architect, and Junior Developers, we need to streamline our process as much as possible so we don't have to waste overhead on doing redundant repetitive stuff and while this is way above and beyond using a word document, it's still not fully utilizing what the platform can do.

Why doesn't the "Link to Epic" checkbox always show in the Create Issue dialog box? I see it when I just create a dummy table with one word in each field in the Table. However, the checkbox does not show up if the information I have in the Table fields is more than one word. Is this a bug? I am using Jira Cloud.

It´s pretty obvious that one really wants to assign an assignee and the due date too... why only "Summary" and "description" fields?? is it that hard to do it right?, since many years this has stayed the same... instead of doing good videos as this one... focus on develop basic needs of your tools, instead of trusting the blody marketplace for such basic functionalities.
