Who Is GW2's BEST Engineer?

I could see this one leaning towards Painter, Electrician or even Sanitation Expert, but ehh. I'm basic, I like Foot Soldier LOL

Mechanic was my Top pick in GW1 and I ALWAYS had him bald, with the mirror sunglasses, the biggest beard, and the pink sparkly weapon skin.

I can understand Mechanic but I like to say Painter is up there as at least a runner-up. 45 damage on direct, NO Damage falloff--he hits as hard as Captain Squawk's individual headshots but you have TWELVE shots to work with. Plus Engineer abilities.

Fun fact that makes engineer even better, the jackhammer ability is cracked against super bean, it does rapid insane damage to its shield and melts it, same with citron shield

Roadie Z is solid competition when using the trigger spam exploit on turbo jackhammer, he can completely bowl over teams by himself. He was so broken that he had to be banned from tournaments because (and when they did allow him he completely took over the game.) Meanwhile, mechanic, while still the best of the remaining engies, wasn't super game defining due to most teams not running an engie period. Other classes are just more important, but Roadie Z is insane enough that every team would run several if allowed.

If we went with an engineer with a primary closer to stock I definitely say sanitation expert as he's basically just stock but with toxic damage

Foot soldier but with Gatling pea from Walmart (good ability), movement speed buff (hyper without the jump boost), and stun ability. Also don’t forget the teleports.
Those situations for which he is better than reg soldier aren’t that uncommon so yeah. Engineer sweep!
