Calgary 1948 archive footage

Показать описание
Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker while visiting Canada, probably in 1948.

It contains stock footage of the Stampede Parade held in Calgary, filmed from the street in front of the Yale Hotel (demolished in 1974) and near the old train station: crowds lined along the street watching floats, horse carriages, a float displaying Calgary’s logo, an Esso-sponsored float, the Chinook tribe float, people dispersing after the parade, and more.
