ABOUT THE WATERPROOF SNOWY OWL
The stunning Snowy Owl soars through winter, never sacrificing grace for practicality. Like her namesake, our Waterproof Snowy Owl is ideally adapted to Canada’s frigid winters, boasting a cozy sheepskin footbed and complete waterproofing to a height of four inches from the bottom. That’s why you’ll reach for this beauty—rated to -32C—all winter long.

Perfect for slush.

The AuthenTEC Waterproof System lets you take on winter in style with boots crafted with three layers of waterproof sealant, rich waterproof leather and suede and a full sheepskin footbed that keeps you dry and cozy all day.

Manitobah conducts rigorous waterproof and temperature testing using a minimum 50,000 flex standard.

I have the plain snowy owl and they are amazing. I’ve had them 7 years now. They keep your feet warm even on the coldest days in Canada (I don’t wear them with socks - the sheepskin lining is warm enough). I’m glad to see they improved the grip on the bottom. They’re fine for snow, but on ice the old model could be slippery. Looks like I’ll have to upgrade to these next year!

I clicked on the video to just see the features of these boots, yet felt like I was greeted by her very first word saying; "Tenshi..."
Of course, I MUST be mistaking the actual word and it's meaning, but was hoping someone could please translate for me - what she said in the very beginning? Is that word a greeting?
Please and thank you in advance!
