I feel like elemental honing is a lot of work for only 5% more than B&S… for kinetic weapons that get 40% I guess it can be interesting but for anything else I’m not convinced.

That is an absolute ton of damage, I'm not entirely surprised it could do that much. It does get overshadowed this season by Queensbreaker but that is an Exotic heavy making extremely good use of a column 5 artifact mod, so I think a weapon like Hezen in a rotation will look much better next episode

And I say it as a hunter main, just throw an foetracer with a queen breaker and gathering storm and your good to go

If they lower it to only need 3 or 4 different elemental hits for max damage, I think it’ll get more usage.

Origin trait for hunters since they use burst damage supers, make Hezens great, honestly. Though would use Prydeths(sp?) with elemental honing since it gets more of a boost due to being kinetic.

Elemental honing tomorrows answer would better fit the rotation since its the same archetype but a void weapon

Elemental honing has so much potenial, but i think it would only work on shorter dmge phases possibly, ones under about 30s tho, so not crudely short, but shortish, bc u have time to do damage with other types, but what if it was on a kinect shotgun? Imagine a shotgun type like perfect paradox, w smth like dual loader, and elemental honing
