I took an MSF class before I ever road. 23 years ago. BEST thing I ever did. I’ve developed good habits from day one. No one should ride without having taken a class. Period.

I took the class in California, the CMSP. It was definitely worth it. I went from not knowing how to ride a motorcycle at all to zipping around that course. It really made me think about safety and rethink how I handled road rage in my cars. None of that is worth it, especially on two wheels. I just bought my first motorcycle, a 2015 Yamaha Bolt!

I got my motorcycle license in San Diego in 1990 or 91. It was different. If I remember, I studied from the state DMV book, took the written test, then drove on the DMV’s tiny bike for an examiner. Super easy. I don’t know what it’s like nowadays in California. It’s probably much like the video. My first bike: I bought a Honda Magna and drove it everywhere. I was careful, but I developed my own habits. Loved it! I mostly rode alone. Never did group rides. I rode solo to the Grand Canyon and up the coast to Cambria to visit my sister. Once I rode with my brother into Mexico. Mostly, I just commuted in San Diego traffic. The motorcycle solved the parking problem. I sold the motorcycle when I moved to Kansas in 96. Now, my 18 year old daughter and I are about to get our Kansas motorcycle licenses. I signed us both up for the Wichita MSF class in April. I expect she’ll do great. She already drives a manual transmission car, so clutch operation should not be difficult for her. I hope I can do OK. I will need to learn the best practices, and unlearn some of my self taught stuff. I haven’t ridden a motorcycle in over 20 years. Should be fun learning again. It will be special, learning to ride with my daughter.

I'm a returning rider after many years. Took the class and really enjoyed it. It was very helpful getting my confidence back. Finished the class, got my endorsement, bought a Sportster and so far have 175 miles on it. Two thumbs up to the class, Independence Harley-Davidson and the staff there. Highly recommended.

I took this class at Bumpus in Memphis, TN last summer.I had no idea how to ride a motorcycle, so I knew I had to get some training. I was so nervous that I made too many mistakes, and I had to come back to repeat the riding portion. I'm addicted to riding now. I have an Indian and a Harley. I ride all the time. I love it.

Never ridden a motorcycle before, , 🏍 always rode on the back of bikes like my husband who's been riding since the 70s, , I took the Harley Davidson safety course did not do to good the first time dumped the bike, both the bike and I got banged up, , so the coach recommended me to do the enchantment skill class the coach was excellent worked with me tell I got the hang of it👍🏻 so I did did the second class, , these coaches where tough , , they were good & I passed, , so now I have been riding with my husband in traffic he rides behind me on his Harley sportster while I ride on my brand new Honda Rebel 300cc, , still a little nervous with speed and need to still work on my turns, , my husband gets on me about riding to close to the double line, , and ride closer to the right.

I just graduated from my class today at the Harley Dealer in Laurel MD today. I’ve ridden before but I learned a lot in the class. Definitely worth it. Not only to ride legally but also to pick up tips and to break bad habits.

Great video! What was really cool was seeing the riders go from a little timid in the first 5 exercises or so. By the 12th exercise you could see how much confidence they had. I’ll be a new rider and watching this gave me confidence that I can take and pass the MSF course. Thanks for the video

I tell people to get training even if they don’t plan on getting a motorcycle. My reason is even though I have a class a commercial license that when I took this MSF class that it helped me improve my driving as well. It teaches you to have a constant attention all around you no matter what you drive and as a rider it also taught me to even more vigilant around other riders as well that I go the extra mile looking out for bikes on the road.

I took this class at Harley Davidson earlier this year and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It’s a lot of fun and challenging at the same time, and gives you the confidence and basic knowledge to be able to hop out there on 2 wheels. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and want to see you succeed, but will not just slide you through the course. I’m glad I went this route, and my only regret is I didn’t do it sooner!

I just took this MSF class today. Not here, but a place in Texas. Loved it. Very informative. It builds from nothing to something so logically and progressively it's great.

I took my safety course back in 2016. I tell you alot of what you're taught in class. Is soo different from the DMV handbook, but its book knowledge versus the real deal. I thank EVERY instructor out there for teaching these courses. It has saved me tons of close calls and put what I have learned into real scenarios. I highly recommend anyone who's thinking of riding a motorcycle to take the course, it will be the best choice you have ever take and I mean literally!
