What is the role of the upper neuron in the motor pathway:
1. Transfer impulse from motor cortex to spinal cord
2. Transfer impulse from spinal cord to motor cortex
3. Transfer impulse from spinal cord to muscle

I dont understand how if its not part of the cervical region it controls the limbs(also is it upper limbs only??), i mean dont roots coming from the cervical region innervate the shoulder and upper limbs?
