STORYLINE:
China's Cao Yuan has defended his title in the men’s 10-meter platform to give China an unprecedented sweep of the diving gold medals at the Paris Olympics, while Rikuto Tamai of Japan claimed the silver and Britain's Noah Williams grabbed the bronze.

Yarisleidis Cirilo of Cuba won Bronze in the Women's 200m Single Kayak, while Katie Vincent of Canada edged her in a world-best 44.12 seconds.

Liu Huanhua won China its fourth weightlifting gold medal through the first seven competitions, taking gold in the men's 102 kilograms on Saturday.

Bea Ortiz scored four goals and Spain won its first Olympic gold medal in women’s water polo, beating Australia 11-9 in the final.
