EC launches voter registration exercise in Soroti

The electoral commission has extended its update of the national voter register to the Eastern Region of the country. On Monday, officials from the electoral commission turned up in Soroti to urge already registered voters to update their voting details while also calling upon new voters to register ahead of the 2021 elections. Deo Nakutundam the Eastern Region Election Officer says that the update of the national voters register will be followed by the demarcation of polling stations
