The S 14 is simply the best Windows 14 laptop ever. For the power it has, the battery life and 3K OLED is incredible. Just got one and I’m blown away. Finally a worthy Apple macbook air alternative for Windows users.

For the Battery test: Please add a new battery test to show "Sleep Mode" effect on battery usage, e.g., put the laptop on sleep mode and leave it for 3-4 days then power it up; show the battery % before and after.

Would be interesting to see the Zenbook s14 vs Vivobook S14 Ryzen AI 9. It looks like AMD is doing a great job on mobile with it's new chip, especially with the integrated 890M.

Recent owner of the Zenbook S14 OLED. It's undoubtedly a great laptop, with a great display, great battery life, and portable design. Would your laptop last longer and be lighter if you get the snapdragon laptop? Yes, of course. However, Windows on ARM is still unfortunately not on par with Windows on x86-64 and do not get me started on Linux. If you want to get a laptop that does everything you need and more, and not having to worry about compatibility issues, get the S14. That said, I am really looking forward to a future of great ARM support on Windows and Linux.

Edit: If you need the crazy battery life and a unix-like environment for development, I believe Macs are still the only viable option. Or alternatively get a Lunar Lake laptop without an OLED screen and just use Linux and accept 10 hours is the upper limit. (10 hours is still ridiculous for me coming from a long-time gaming laptop user)

I think, best choice is S 14 because of 120 hz is great different.

dude, S14 is definitely the way to go considering the CPU, Screen, I'll settle for that extra 200 g weight...
The real A14 is supposed to have an Intel or AMD CPU + 2K screen (100Hz least) + 700 grams Max, it's 2025 now, I know they could make that happen...they just don't !

Still can't understand why Asus zen book 14, s14 and a14 series are there? They are different not only CPU but also chassis and peripherals. Why can't Asus make a simple category-based distinction on its website that everyone can understand, like Apple?

why to switch to ARM in first place...why cant intell bring similar cpu in terms of performance and GPU and NPU....i think its round the corner...snapd is immature still...i think in few yrs...we will have separate modular display...
