Retired Major General and Liberal Senator Jim Molan says we must “talk and talk and talk” as our first line of defence against China is diplomacy.

"In past conflicts, we as part of the western world, for example, in Iraq, have stopped talking a little bit too early,” Mr Molan told Sky News host James Morrow.
