The performance of the new golf 8 R is insane, incredible for a hot hatch with "only" 320 hp. The car is slightly quicker than an old RS3 367 hp or nearly the same of a RS3 400 hp. In an other channel the golf 8r made a drag race and rolling race against a new A45 amg 421 hp and it's very closed. And they have measured on a dyno another brand new golf 8 r bought only one week before on this same channel and the result was 340 hp (so the car doesn't get probably his full power because not totally "released").

Wow, this is genuinely incredible. To think a stock 2.0L 4 cylinder Golf is pushing 275km/h GPS, just feels unrealistic, yet here we are. Shows how strong this engine must be, when you think about the AWD drivetrain losses, this has to be closer to 350hp at the crank surely. Amazing!

Just saw a tuned Golf 8 R (444PS by HGP) and it does 0-100 in 3, 7s and 100-200 in 8, 8s... that’s just mind blowing... this car/package is simply amazing

If this is this fast I can only imagine the upcoming RS3 ... I would also like to see this Golf R vs the current RS3 because this golf r is insane. Stage 1 tune and this is going over 300kmph. Stage 2 will be an absolute killer
