ResMed 3G Modem Obsolete on AirSense 10 CPAP Machine.

3G modems will no longer be supported by AirView and MyAir. How do you get your information to your doctor?

Thank you! Oscar is great, very easy to instal and use. My ResMed 10 stopped communicating to MyAir, I couldn’t fix it. You would think a notice from either the sleep clinic or ResMed could have saved me some grief. All good for now!

Love your videos - True story about providers not giving a S*** - We are a papper family with my 84 year old dad switching to ASV and having all kinds of leaks - They tried a full face mask, the doc kept sending him for more mask- Leaks galore - uber High AHI - We did a follow up with the nurse practitioner - I read their bio- they were a sleep tech in a prior life! I was like - You were a sleep tech what's the problem? She was like no wonder its not his mask its his machine is set to be a jet engine - She pushed new settings - leaks dropped - AHI dropped. life is good - Sleep tech turned NP saved the day-

I now live in Kanab, Utah, but still use my sleep doc back in Bellingham, Washington. Simply taking my card into my sleep doc is an 18 hour commute.

It's now the 1st week of May. My machine stopped sending data on April 12th. I didn't even know it. It still works fine. I don't check it that often.

Isn’t the issue that the telecommunications carriers are retiring their 3G networks?
What has not been clear from the discussions I have seen so far is the scope of this issue.
Is it the US, or Australia where Nick and I live or somewhere else?

The modem never really worked in my machine, but of course I have a recalled Machine

On my Airsense 10 the modem specs are available in the about section at the bottom of the user menu so access to the clinical menu is not required. In the US, Verizon will maintain 3g coverage through December 2022, other carriers will discontinue it earlier -AT&T will drop it in February. My AS10 will switch carriers on it’s own. It used to connect through AT&T but came up with T-Mobile after the last power outage.

I think I pay a fee to my HME monthly for monitoring and forwarding the info to my pulmonologist’s office.In that case I shouldn’t be paying that fee anymore. Am I correct?

Pleasantly surprised. Checked my Airsense 10 out and it has a 4G modem.

Checked my new to me ResMed Airsense 10, and it's 4G T-mobile. FCC changes make the 3G band to go away by end of 2022 (TMobile & Sprint Jan 1, 22, ATT shuts down Feb 22, 22, Verizon 12/31/22), as it's obsolete, with 4G and 5G (with 4G quickly becoming outdated as more 5G keeps rolling out).

My sleep apnea has affected me so much, I get out of breath just walking to kitchen .
Tried hypnotherapy . No help. Ideas?
