At home red light therapy hair growth is it worth it? How does red light therapy for hair growth work? I tried out the iRestore hair growth system to get a feel for this at home red light therapy device. Given that I suffer with hair loss especially on the front of my scalp I wanted to get my hands on some of the best red light therapy for hair growth devices and share it with you. The iRestore red light hair growth therapy shines photoactive LEDs and lasers onto your scalp to stimulate hair growth to develop thicker fuller hair follicles. I couldn't do a hair loss video without also reviewing other options for hair loss including minoxidil and finasteride. Improving hair loss often combines a variety of hair loss treatments to get the best result.

When I was in my late 20's I noticed that my 2 older brothers hair really start thinning by the time they were 30. At 27 I noticed my hair was starting to thin and fall out. I did 2 things. I started propecia and within 3 months my hair stopped falling out. About a year later I purchased iGrow/iRestore. Over the next 6 months my hair started getting thicker and was pretty much the same as it was in my early 20s. I am now in my mid 40's and my hair still looks about the same. My 2 older brothers in the meantime have lost most of their hair. I really believe we have a small window to take action. Once you lose too much hair it's really hard to grow it back. Both of my brothers have tried alot of hair grow products without much result. One brother has now had two hair transplant surgeries.

Hey Doc. You mentioned both LED and red lasers but could a plain inexpensive red spotlight have the same or similar effect?

Is the irestore pro just for people that started to loose hair?. Or would it work for someone that has been bald for years as well?

Great video, although quick question. I take antidepressants, would I still be alright using red light therapy if I'm on antidepressants or taking anything like vitamin D?

Hi, Is there any reason why red light therapy can't be used while on doxycycline, or other medications?

I’m 19 and hate myself because of this. I’m not sure what the best route to take is.
