Such a great story. Thanks for highlighting her. I remember how amazed I was when I read (some years ago) she was in an executive position at Walmart. She’s so inspiring.

She is phenomenal in my book. Talking from a Black female of a certain age. Salute🙏🏾

I loved this interview. As an Asian American female executive, I too have gotten those token comments. Ironically, to make it to the C-Suite, we had to work hard and advocate for ourselves to get noticed. Results shut up the naysayers.

I love that she went to an HBCU. I think she is a testament to how important these institutions still are when it comes to positioning members of the Black community to build successful careers and land leadership positions. I hope they continue to receive the financial support/resources they deserve.

Roz Brewer is EXACTLY the kind of person we need to put labor back into its place as the most important aspect of business.

“Wife, mother of two.” I feel like just for being a woman, instead of opening with “CEO” dammit!
