CS can be cleared without coaching but in case of ca it's difficult to say as it has more practical approach papers than cs.
CA curriculum is more versatile.

I am already pursuing my cs professional studies as a self....and in first attempt I failed in aggregate marks and in December 2019 will be 2nd attempt...and believe me guyz jab self study karte ho na tab jyada seriously padhte apun log....bs scanner and module is more than sufficient..!!
