This weekend the @Premier League kicked off with some incredible games. First, Pep Guardiola has @Man City looking as sharp as ever against their first opponent @West Ham United FC . Erling Haaland looked really sharp and getting a brace on his Premier League debut.

@Arsenal @Tottenham Hotspur and @Chelsea Football Club all enjoyed opening day wins. Meanwhile Jurgen Klopp and @Liverpool FC dropped two points to newly promoted @Fulham Football Club . Finally, @Manchester United looked very bad and were beaten by @Official Brighton & Hove Albion FC .

The 2-3-5 isn’t new for city but the focal point in Haaland only causes more uncertainty for CBs who struggle to decided if they should press up or drop deep as the likes of Foden, KDB, etc swarm the attacking areas

What is so new about this? Seems to be very similar to the 100-point season a few years back.. just slightly narrower inverted wingbacks. I am not sure why such narrow spacing is considered beneficial?
